AEMC: consultation on ways to support a reliable supply of dispatchable energy as the power system transforms (submissions by 19 September 2017)
The AEMC has started consultation on its review of the regulatory and market frameworks needed to support a reliable supply of electricity as the power system transforms to include more variable, intermittent generation and demand-side innovation.
Stakeholders are invited to comment on the issues raised in the AEMC consultation paper. Submissions are due by 19 September 2017.
AEMC will provide a progress report on the review to the COAG Energy Council by the end of 2017, with a final report due in mid-2018.
